The Aveiro’s forward geometry, slack head angle, and short stem suggest using a wider drop bar for optimal performance. Opting for a one-size-up handlebar enhances handling and provides the best experience when navigating local gravel singletracks.
Advancements in titanium SLM 3D printing technology have made it possible to construct bikes from titanium that were previously unfeasible. The Aveiro features relatively short chainstays and ample tire clearance, ensuring stability and ease of control even on challenging rocky XC-style descents. This model accommodates a narrow Q-factor 1x gravel crankset and a lightweight gravel wheelset. For enhanced cushioning, we offer a suspension-corrected version of the Aveiro, compatible with a 40mm suspension gravel fork.
The Aveiro is designed with future-proof features, including Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) dropouts. These dropouts offer compatibility with traditional rear derailleurs that require a hanger—widely available in the market—or, alternatively, with the latest SRAM T-type derailleurs, which mount directly to the frame, eliminating the need for a hanger.
The Aveiro frame offers seamless full cable integration for a clean and modern aesthetic. We utilize the IS52 headset standard, which allows up to four cables to run internally. Major cockpit manufacturers such as Deda (DCR), ENVE/Chris King (In-Route system), and FSA/Vision (ACR) now offer setups based on this standard. Leveraging the incredible capabilities of 3D-printed titanium, we have expanded tire clearance to previously unattainable levels. Our design allows for the combination of narrow Q-factor gravel cranksets (as opposed to wider MTB setups) with tire clearances up to 58mm (or 29x2.25”). While many riders may opt for narrower tires, the mud clearance provided by this innovative frame design is unmatched.
